Overview operates under CAA Part 102 certification for commercial unmanned aircraft operations throughout New Zealand and its territorial waters.

Our certificate permits operations including:

  • Within 4 km of an uncontrolled aerodrome, with notification 

  • Over property, with notification

  • In low flying zones 

  • With aircraft greater than 25 kg 

  • Beyond visual line of sight in near-proximity operations 

  • Surveying, mapping, photography and videography 
     

Approved aircraft include DJI Inspire, Mavic and FPV series drones, along with the Freefly Alta X and other specialist platforms.
